What we need
As the International Controller you will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day statutory accounting for our international operations including Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Vietnam. You will be responsible for ensuring all activity is accurately recorded in the financial statements, oversee international accounting operations, ensure compliance and regulatory requirements, and will play a key audit coordination role. This position will report to the Assistant Controller.
What we do
The Accounting team is part of the Finance organization which is a critical financial business partner for the Company. Finance functions include General Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Internal Audit, FP&A. Our Finance team is a trusted source for financial information and guidance for our internal customers, partners, customers, suppliers, regulators, and stakeholders.
What you'll do

Supervise and oversee statutory accounting for our international operations including Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Vietnam

Direct the month-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the financial statements through the preparation of intercompany, GAAP to Stat, and FX related journal entries

Review journal entries prepared by accounting team members.

Manage the tax, audit, and examination processes, including audited financial statements

Ensure compliance with statutory accounting, filings and regulatory requirements

Define, document, implement processes and procedures.

Lead efforts to support global expansion initiatives including the introduction of new legal entities
What you'll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, including preparation of statutory financial statements.

Prior direct or functional management experience preferred.

Effective leader with excellent oral and written communication

Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.

SAP experience

High attention to detail required in managing analytical tasks.

Ability to analyze, solve problems, and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.

Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week in office) based in Wilmington, MA office.
Our environment

Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed bi-weekly.
