POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure that invoices, purchase orders, payments, and other company expenses are processed accurately and timely, and that excellent relationships are maintained with our vendors and functional internal leads. The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Accounting/Finance team with the procure-to-pay process and accounts payable functions.  The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent attention to detail.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing and transferring invoices from invoice mailbox to cloud storage.
  • Record invoices and credits into AP system module.
  • Compares incoming invoicing against contracts and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Respond to rush requests with a sense of urgency as needed.
  • Reviews invoice calculations, timesheets, expenses, sales tax etc.
  • Ensures payments are made in a timely fashion.

The Network and Datacenter Manager is responsible for supporting our datacenters.  Job Description

The Billing Specialist will work directly with our customers and the other billing team members to make a positive impact on our overall accounting function. In a high volume, highly manual (Excel) environment, the Billing Specialist will be responsible for accurate preparation of customer invoices, the calculation of sales commissions and verification of billing with accounts receivable ledger.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process invoices according to contractual terms
  • Follow up with customers and vendors for all billing issues
  • Process credit rebill requests ensuring proper approval documentation is in place ensure all relevant monthly close deadlines are met; prepare analysis and key metrics
  • Manage customer specific web portal requirements including daily invoice uploads
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of internal and external inquiries of billing issues
  • Run and review daily exception reports
  • Represent the Billing team in cross-functional projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Researching and bringing together the payment history and customer streaming usage to understand a customer's complete history and profile
  • Be part of the iboss on-boarding team to make sure we provide an outstanding onboarding experience for new customers.
  • Manage daily billing and monthly reconciliation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to billing.
  • Optimize any change processes with our sales partners and customers.
  • Coordinate with partners to make sure services are provided to our customers on time.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the company to streamline customer experience.
  • Provide accurate reporting for your tasks.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting required, MBA and/or CPA is a plus 
  • Minimum 2 years of business experience, SaaS experience a plus
  • Minimum 2 years in public accounting; Big 4 a plus 
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and FinancialForce.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Recent experience architecting and deploying a highly segmented network with a focus on security.
  • 5+ years’ experience in direct support of IT Technical Infrastructure components at multiple sites required.
  • Strong experience managing a diverse environment that includes Routing-Firewall, IP Network Technologies, and experience working with Blade Chassis in a highly converged environment.
  • Experience opening datacenters internationally and an understanding of international privacy laws.  
  • Familiar with HIPAA, ISO 27001 or experience with other security and compliance related regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing complex technical projects.
  • Previous experience with 24 X 7 support.
