Jennifer is a repeat entrepreneur who has run successful startups in the HR Tech, Ed Tech, Real Estate, and SaaS industries.
She founded Krash, a network of shared living spaces for entrepreneurs with locations in Boston, Cambridge, New York, and Washington, DC.
She was also the co-founder and CEO of Smarterer, a Google Ventures-backed startup acquired by Pluralsight for $75M.
She advises startups and is a mentor at TechStars Boston and TechStars Kaplan in New York. She has presented and spoken at numerous tech and HR industry events, including the MIT Sloan School, Harvard iLab, and the ERE Recruiting Conference. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Fullbridge Opportunity Foundation, which provides grants for first-generation and underserved students to participate in career-accelerator programs.
Jennifer has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Business, and a BA from Georgetown University.
Connie has spent her career building and leading high-performance sales organizations in early-stage technology companies, including Abacus, DoubleClick, PaySimple and Trulia.
Connie has managed large strategic partnerships in both the technology and consumer markets and has been part of four successful exits. She has hired over 1000 people in her career.
Connie joined Abacus as the 40th hire and built sales from $14M to $110M. She led the team through the IPO and $1.2B acquisition by DoubleClick.
She launched the Denver Inside Sales division for Trulia (acquired by Zillow in $1.7B) for and grew it from 0 to 130 reps in just six months, exceeding all hiring, sales, revenue, and retention goals.
Connie frequently teaches workshops on building, growing, and managing a sales organization to sales leaders and entrepreneurs. She is a mentor to numerous startups in Boston and Denver/Boulder, and a frequent speaker on the topic of building sales teams.
Connie holds a BA in Business Administration from Regis University.
Phil has 15 years of experience in strategy around bringing products to market; obsessed with craft, rapid learning and the power of an awesome team.
Phil founded Krash, a network of shared living spaces for entrepreneurs with locations in Boston, Cambridge, New York, and Washington, DC.
Phil also founded and was CEO of ImpulseSave, a Fin Tech startup acquired by Betterment in 2013.
Phil started his career in politics and was press secretary for the national campaign office the Speaker of the House of Representatives. He founded Alfano Fremont-Smith, a media strategy firm that made TV, radio, and integrated marketing campaigns for many members the US House of Representatives, US Senate, governors, and other constitutional offices. He was a frequent guest on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.
Phil is a composer and conductor of original choral and orchestral works, and has been a guest conductor at a number of community and university chorales. He has performed master works such as The Fauré Requiem and Stravinsky’s Dumbarton Oaks.

Phil holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Business, a Masters Degree in Choral and Orchestral Conducting from the University College, Cork and a BA from Boston College.
A keen technologist, engineer, and serial entrepreneur, Greg has co-founded two innovative technology firms and been involved with several more from their earliest stages.
Prior to joining Happie as its CTO, Greg co-founded LeadsToday, a cutting-edge demand generation platform that uses predictive analytics and marketing automation to help real estate professionals gain more listings. He oversees all of LeadsToday’s product, engineering, and operations efforts.
Prior to LeadsToday, Greg was the CTO of SavingStar, where he architected all aspects of the company’s engineering and technical operations from the ground up. SavingStar brought paperless mobile eCoupons to a national audience, and Greg oversaw integration of its UPC-specific data collection platform in over 26,000 stores nationwide.
Before SavingStar, Greg co-founded and served as CTO at Jingle Networks with Scott Kliger, his co-founder at LeadsToday. Jingle Networks was purchased by Marchex in 2011 for $62.5M.
Greg was also the chief architect for Choicestream, where he helped define and implement the Choicestream recommendation system, which delivered dynamic, personalized content and product recommendations to increase customer engagement.
As chief architect for Narrative Communications, he helped to design and implement the Enliven Rich Media advertising system. Greg received a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, with honors in economics and mathematics.
