Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Jason Robins is Chief Executive Officer of DraftKings. Robins co-founded DraftKings in 2012 and oversees the company’s strategy and operations, while also driving funding and partnerships.
Robins has built a reputation for expanding DraftKings’ reach across numerous platforms through wide-ranging, forward-thinking partnerships. Under his leadership, DraftKings became the first DFS company to sign a league partnership, with Major League Baseball in 2013. Jason has lead efforts at DraftKings to work with policy makers and regulators to pass smart legislation. As of 2018, DraftKings has passed 19 bills.
Robins’ work has been recognized by the media and his peers, both nationally and in Boston. Recognition includes: Fortune’s 2015 “40 Under 40” list of the most influential people in business, appearing on that issue’s cover, Sports Business Journal’s “40 Under 40,” Boston Business Journal’s “Power 50: Game Changers,” and “40 Under 40,” among others.
Robins attended Duke University, where he received his degree in Economics and Computer Science. He resides with his wife and sons in the Boston area.
Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder
Paul Liberman is Chief Operations Officer of DraftKings. Liberman co-founded DraftKings in 2012 and oversees the company’s product development while leading efforts in maintaining the company’s current product set. He has acted as both CTO and CMO before moving into his current position as COO.
Liberman’s data-driven mindset has been instrumental in catapulting DraftKings from a small Boston start-up to a global sports-tech entertainment enterprise. Under his leadership, Paul’s team of over 150 people has developed award-winning, stand-alone apps and products including DraftKings’ DK Live and Leagues, while scaling the DraftKings platform. Under Liberman’s guidance, DraftKings was the first fantasy provider to roll out a mobile app. Liberman also developed DraftKings’ back-end system so the company can continuously roll out new types of games and variants of each sport based on demand such as Arcade Mode for MLB and Pick ‘Em for NFL, NHL, NBA and Soccer.
Among his recent honors, Liberman was named to Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list of the most influential people in Boston.
Liberman attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He lives with his wife and twin sons in the Boston area.
Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder
Matt Kalish is Chief Revenue Officer and co-founder of DraftKings, a leading Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) destination that has become the fastest-growing company in the industry since its launch in 2012. Kalish oversees DraftKings’ customer relationships and treatments, as well as the creation and execution of all aspects of the contests, which are offered across the broadest variety of sports in DFS
Kalish, a lifelong fan of real-time fantasy and strategy games, combined his experience in corporate analytics and e-commerce to become the “game master” of DraftKings. In a short span, he has led his team to go beyond the industry standards of football, basketball, and baseball, breaking new ground in NASCAR, golf and mixed martial arts DFS. Under Kalish’s leadership, the DraftKings Millionaire Maker golf contests have produced three consecutive sellouts during the 2015 season and DraftKings has become the favorite DFS site among daily players, receiving the highest Net Promoter Score at 21 in a survey conducted by Eilers Research (July 2015).
Prior to starting DraftKings, Kalish worked in business analytics at Capital One – where he met DraftKings Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Jason Robins. While working in CRM and marketing at Vistaprint, he and Robins met the third co-founder and DraftKings Chief Operating Officer Paul Liberman. Kalish also held positions at Microsoft and Fidelity Investments.
Kalish received his MBA from Boston College and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and computer science from Columbia University. He resides with his family in the Boston area.
Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer
Tim Dent is the Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Officer of DraftKings, where he oversees finance, legal & legislative affairs, compliance & licensing and financial operations. Tim was an early investor in the company and an advisor before joining full-time in 2013. He currently oversees DraftKings’ work to provide the most transparent and fair fantasy contests available and lead the industry in safe, responsible play.
Prior to joining DraftKings, Tim held multiple executive leadership roles at Cambridge Interactive Development Corp., a Boston based software technology company that was the platform behind one of the top online games brands in Europe. During his tenure at CIDC, Tim led many efforts in all of stages of the company’s lifecycle from start up, to rapid revenue growth and market expansion, and its transition from unregulated to regulated operating environment.
Tim holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is a licensed public accountant. Tim lives in Boston with his wife and 2 daughters.
R. Stanton Dodge
Chief Legal Officer
R. Stanton Dodge joined DraftKings as Chief Legal Officer in November 2017. In this position, Dodge oversees DraftKings’ legal, government affairs and communications teams, leading DraftKings’ future growth in passing smart legislation and is a key figure in positioning DraftKings to enter new markets and seize new business opportunities.
Prior to DraftKings, Dodge worked at DISH Network for more than 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility in the legal department, most recently as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of DISH, responsible for all legal and government affairs, and corporate communications.
Dodge received his degree in Accounting from the University of Vermont, and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School.
Chief Marketing Officer
Tom Goedde is the Chief Marketing Officer at DraftKings. Goedde is responsible for DraftKings brand, creative, customer research, customer modeling, and community management, including VIP and customer service.
Before joining the company, Goedde was most recently the Chief Marketing Officer for the rival fantasy sports platform iPro. He is a 25-year veteran of the sports and gaming industries where he has led franchises like EA Sports’ Madden NFL. Tom specializes in product and brand marketing and has a deep supporting experience in business development and licensing.
Tom currently consults and invests in a diverse portfolio of startups and established businesses ranging from fantasy sports to America's Next Top Model to disaster relief and more.
Tom holds a degree in Speech Communication Theory and Public Relations from Carroll College. Tom resides in the Boston area with his wife and two sons.
Chief Business Officer
Ezra Kucharz joined DraftKings as Chief Business Officer in October 2017. In this role, Kucharz is responsible for expanding DraftKings’ business strategy, ad sales and digital media, further solidifying the company’s position at the intersection of sports, tech and media while advancing its footprint in the content space. Additionally, Kucharz’s portfolio includes the build-out of the business and corporate development functions by identifying opportunities for strategic ventures and acquisitions.
Prior to DraftKings, Kucharz served as president of CBS Local Digital Media and special advisor to CBS CEO, Leslie Moonves. In this role, Kucharz oversaw online and mobile business across CBS Radio’s 115 stations nationwide, and more than two dozen CBS Television stations. During his tenure, Kucharz’s leadership elevated CBS Local to the number one digital organization in broadcast TV and radio. Kucharz has also held several senior-level positions at NBC Universal, founded one of the first online digital sports media companies, Total Sports, and worked for NASA in their Space Shuttle and Space Station Medical Operations divisions after serving as an Army Officer assigned to the Armor Branch.
Kucharz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from University of Houston and a Master’s Degree in Medical Informatics from Duke University.
Starting out his career in consulting then moving to compensation management, Graham eventually got into managing all aspects of human resources. He moved his way up at TripAdvisor before joining and quickly moving up at DraftKings, Inc, where he has worked since July 2015. At DraftKings, Inc., Graham aims to find win-win solutions to all People challenges, believing that forcing people into policies works against the supportive environment that’s necessary for company health and growth. He believes centering company policies around employee happiness is the most effective way to foster employee productivity. Recently appointed Vice President of People at DraftKings Inc, Graham is improving and upgrading the company’s People systems as DraftKings, Inc. continues to grow.
