Intelligent.ly: Creating a Culture of Learning

Talk to any founder around Boston and the number one item they say success hinges on is the team. Intelligent.ly, the leadership development company that helps your team lead, to win through its management development programs, company workshops, and special events, realizes this, believing that people are a company’s number one advantage.

After hosting hundreds of skill classes and launching Exchange, a leadership development program for managers, the good folks of Intelligent.ly are at it again, rolling out EMERGE, a one-day workshop for the individual contributors who help keep Boston's startups moving forward.

        Intelligent.ly EMERGE

Intelligent.ly was founded in 2012 by Sarah Hodges and Dave Balter as a way to connect the tech community and has since become Boston’s go-to organization for leadership development.

Over time, Intelligent.ly saw a growing demand among Boston companies for leadership development support. After first launching Exchange, an intensive 6-session program to help new managers learn and connect with like-minded peers, they are now using the interactive approach to help individual contributors increase their impact inside their companies.

Some early supporters and users of EMERGE include HubSpot, Silicon Valley Bank, WilmerHale, Pluralsight and us, VentureFizz!

EMERGE is designed to help individual contributors optimize their impact inside their companies.

“Too often, we focus on simply training people up in the hard skills they need to do their jobs. It's just as critical to teach people about the power of self-awareness, storytelling, and how to cultivate their leadership styles,” Intelligent.ly’s Executive Director, Abbie Waite Weeks told me.

EMERGE Details:

EMERGE takes place on Wednesday July 22nd at Microsoft NERD, starting at 8:30 am with breakfast and rolling right into a welcome and quick-fire skills session. Other topics throughout the day include; Personal Leadership Stlye, Approach to Influencing, and a session lead by Actifio CMO, Mike Troiano on Defining Your Personal Brand.

Three key takeaways participants can expect to gain from EMERGE:

- Define their personal strengths and leverage them for results.
- Build basic financial models or prioritization skills to boost productivity.
- Create compelling stories to gain buy-in for ideas and initiatives.

If you haven’t signed your team up for EMERGE yet, fret not. There are a few seats left! To enroll, visit emerge.intelligent.ly or connect with Abbie Weeks directly: abbie @ intelligent.ly.
