People over company

This is what we believe – and with a shared love of travel, our approach makes working here great. But it’s not all work, we’re a social bunch too. From enjoying Friday afternoon drinks to events such as food festivals, lunchtime barbecues and charity fundraisers – we have a fantastic culture.

Our Product:

We’re firm believers that the more our people keep their spirit and individuality, the more fulfilled they are and the better they work.

That doesn’t mean we work chaotically. Each role is creative, varied and challenging, and we’re business-like and thoroughly focused. The trips we plan in every detail for our clients mirror our responsible but enjoyable approach.

We care about getting results, we work hard and we pride ourselves on being the best in the business. But we know how to have a good time together, too.

Grow with Audley:

We want good people to stay with us and we do this, in part, by aiding personal development. Your journey starts with a competitive financial package and includes access to skills development, in-house training, further education opportunities and a workplace culture where achievement is recognised and rewarded. Whichever team you’re in, we’ll be with you every step of the way, supporting your development and career.

Audley extras:

Whether it’s a free class through Audley like yoga and spinning, or going out with your teammates for a run along the Charles River, or tennis in the park, there’s no better place to stay active while helping people travel the world. Employees also often join each other on extramural kickball, bocce, and soccer teams.

Work hard play hard is the motto at Audley Boston. With a keg right in the office, Fridays are always a fun way to get to know new teammates and catch up with old friends before heading out for the weekend. From elaborate boat parties, to stunning holiday affairs, the seasons are always celebrated in style. There’s also a restaurant club, language club, and even a beer club.

There’s lots to shout about with our benefits in Boston which include a 401K plan and 20 days PTO. There’s also full medical, dental and vision coverage where Audley pays 100% of the monthly premium.

Regional Sales Manager

After completing my degree in travel and tourism management, I knew I wanted to be in the travel industry for the long haul. My previous roles at other companies before Audley included working as a Marketing Manager and then as the Director of Sales for an educational travel company.

As a Regional Sales Manager in our Boston office, I support a team of Country Specialists with queries about flights and bookings as well as arranging training for call listening, sales strategies and customer service. Each day is really quite different, but a lot of fun.

My honeymoon to Costa Rica has been my favourite travel experience to date.  We travelled the whole country in two weeks and got to do a bit of everything including; white water rafting, deep sea fishing and swimming in waterfalls.

Next on the list is South America. I would really like to explore Chilean wine country and Easter Island. From there I would close out the trip by exploring Quito and then off to the Galapagos Islands.  That is with family in tow so I could truly open both my sons eyes to the world.

Latin America Country Specialist

Before joining Audley I was working for a pharmaceutical company and saving money for travelling- my biggest passion.

A typical day for me as a Latin America Country Specialist includes contacting clients before and after their trips, planning and creating new itineraries and preparing clients’ travel documents. I never tire of talking about Latin America, everyday working in travel is inspiring and I’m currently planning my own trip to Cuba and Costa Rica for holiday.

My travel highlight so far is snorkelling in the Galapagos with a manta ray, turtles and playful sea lions. I have also enjoyed the Rio carnival, climbing Machu Picchu Mountain and staying in a lodge in the Amazon where I was woken up daily by howler monkeys in the rainforest.

When I’m not at work you will find me cooking delicious home cooked meals with my family and friends or reading a good book in my garden hammock.

Indian Subcontinent Country Specialist

Prior to working at Audley I was teaching in a school in rural India. When I returned home I knew I wanted to work for the best company in the industry, whose focus is on quality and customer satisfaction. It really appealed how all the specialists had an incredible working knowledge and passion of their country of choice.

One of the great pleasures of working at Audley is that there is rarely a typical day. Everything we do is unique and personalised to each individual. I find most of my day is spent talking to our clients and my India team of like-minded people. Creating dream itineraries, answering questions, preparing clients for their adventure or listening to their highlights in a post trip call. Everyday is busy and gives me a new challenge.

I have so many travel highlights, but to choose one would be my first rickshaw ride in Delhi. The race of the yellow and green rickshaw as millions flock to the streets, piled high with people. Survival depends on a good horn and good luck. The streets are alive with the beats of bollywood and the sound of high pitched horns. I know I will never forget the enchanting vibes, exotic colours, sounds and the incredible smiles of India.

Southeast Asia Country Specialist

I was working for another company in the travel industry before making the decision to apply to Audley to become a Southeast Asia Specialist.

The office is a fun place to be, with so many like-minded travel obsessed folk. It’s a supportive environment like I’ve never seen before and a pleasure to be a part of. A typical day usually involves tasks such as admin on your previous bookings, research on your countries, social or online content writing and my favourite part of the job, up to several hours on the phone a day to clients, discussing my favourite subject, travel. I am very passionate about photography and I get a great satisfaction from seeing my images being used at Audley. I also love to play most sports, and organise Audley’s football team.

My bucket list is endless. After recently trekking volcanoes around Indonesia I would love to trek the entirety of Iceland and also explore Hawaii.

The highlight of my travel experience so far is the adventures I had in Indonesia cruising around the Komodo Islands. At aptly named ‘Manta Point’ we spotted around 50 or so gigantic rays elegantly gliding below us and we were lucky enough to freedive and get a closer look. It was just the most incredible experience and one I’ll never forget.
