The world changed in the spring of 2020, and so did we. Appcues is still relatively new to this #remote life, but we’re learning and growing every day and embracing the flexibility it offers. Love to code at 2am? Write your best emails with two animals on your lap? We’re here for you.
To keep us all connected, we’ve got Slack channels galore, questions of the day (Favorite recipe? Mullet or perm?), team lunches, holiday celebrations, quality swag (hello YETI cooler), two annual in-person retreats, and more.
The day-to-day
Appcues teammates hail from all over the map and enjoy many different interests, but we all share a love for blurple, our vibrant yet soothing brand color. We’re real big on customer happiness, and we celebrate our customers’ stunning flows every day in Slack—e.g. “this welcome modal is 🔥” or “❤️ this video in a slideout.”
Each morning, we sign into our respective tools, do our best work, and share puns and GIFs along the way. We take pride in the skills we bring to the table and strive to deliver excellent experiences for our customers, but we also don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Working remotely at Appcues means flexibility, no commute and I get to set up my office just the way that works for me! Which means I get more plants, have a massive world map and can decorate for the holidays if I want!
We do weekly team lunches, and monthly team activities - all remote! We have a great culture and it's been a joy to see it develop from an in-office culture to an equally fantastic remote culture.
At Appcues you will have the chance to work with people from different parts of the globe and learn about different cultures. We are always thinking of ways to improve our tools, using new technologies and implementing new architectures.
