Welcome to Yottaa!
Welcome to Yottaa!
With our recent round of Series C funding garnering $16M from Intel, Yottaa is expanding its Boston team and in May moved to 160 Federal Street in the Financial District.
At seven times larger than our last office, Yottaa’s new open space is ideal for a growing startup, and recently hosted hundreds at their first open house. Let’s take a look!
Open Desk Areas & Collaboration Stations
Our open desk areas and “collaboration stations” allow for movement throughout the office for meetings and check-ins.
Each department has its own bullpen – a square-shaped area where members sit together.
Paul Pierce must be finishing up his summer job before heading to Brooklyn.
We each have nameplates at our desk that correspond to the MBTA line we take to commute to work. As a Boston startup, this is a great way to keep our space rooted in the community.
Watch Out for Yobots!
Our Yobots are featured on the walls in each bullpen, this one behind members of the engineering team.
Boston ton Beijing Skyline
Next to the sales team is a Boston to Beijing skyline image that represents bridging our international offices.
On move in day, Yottaa employees were surprised to find framed images of their friends and family already at their desks. Our office manager took the time to personalize each of our spaces to make the transition easier!
Done By Alex...
To encourage even more collaboration, bullpens are outfitted with clear dry-erase boards for doodling and note taking.
Kitchen with Brews & a Wii
Our new kitchen is spacious, and played host to Blue Hills Brewery, who served up drinks for guests at our open house. It’s also equipped with a Wii station for breaks.
Group Lunches & Competitions
The kitchen also has a table for group lunches, where we challenge each other to swap departments for a day and measure the outcome (mainly marketing vs. sales).
Of our four conference rooms, Zetaa is the largest, and is home to our weekly Lunch and Learn sessions.
The Zetaa room also displays our Customer Wall, which showcases Yottaa’s fantastic customers.
Teraa...Notice the Extra A Theme?
Our conference rooms, like our company name, are unit prefixes in the metric system with that extra “a” as a kicker.
For the open house, the Teraa conference room was where guests could get a free web performance assessment from one of our “Speed Freaks.”
Come join our growing team, and enjoy benefits like Turntable.fm Fridays and “Cache Monies” t-shirts. Visit www.yottaa.com for open positions!
