New Wayfair Logo
Wayfair employees show off their new “ink” for our re-branding launch party in Sept 2011. Formerly called CSN Stores, the new logo could be seen all across Boston as we celebrated the launch of Wayfair.com.
A Zillion Things Home
Carrying more home goods than any other e-retailer makes you seriously strong. Wayfair has 4.5 million products from 5,000 brands, but it might as well be a zillion. Ergo our new tagline, A Zillion Things Home.
177 Huntington Ave
When we were called CSN Stores, and had over 200 niche web sites, we occupied 3 floors in the Prudential Tower in Boston. We were expanding at such a rapid pace, that we moved in 2010 to 177 Huntington Ave, right next to the Christian Science wading pool.
The lobby of Wayfair Boston headquarters, where we now occupy 10 floors, and have over 700 employees.
We’ll leave this painting up to interpretation, but it greets Wayfair guests and employees alike every morning in the lobby.
PR Strategy Discussion
Employees from Wayfair’s Public Relations department meet in the lobby to discuss our expansion and media strategies.
Real-Time Purchase Information
Created by our Co-Founder Steve Conine, these TV screens are located on every floor, and display real-time purchase information from our site. It looks like someone just bought a Bamboo Recliner Chair in Deltona, FL. It’s hard not to spend your entire break staring at the screen to see what people are buying across the country.
All of our conference rooms are geographical or nature inspired, like the Estuary, Bog, Marsh, and Savannah.
Joss & Main
In January 2011, Wayfair launched our first private sale site, JossandMain.com. The site has expanded so much, they now occupy their own floor in the building. Joss and Main offers the world’s finest designers, looks, and brands for your home, at remarkable savings every day.
Wayfair employees attend a company seminar put on by Wayfair University, a unique learning platform designed by our HR team to keep employees educated and give them the tools they need to advance within the company.
Happy Employees...Happy Customers
To quote Mr. Will Barrett, who appears in this picture “Every floor you walk up and down in this building, I think you find people happy, and I hope that comes through for our customers.” Well, Will, you look really happy today!
Employees Rachel and Jen from Wayfair’s flash sale site, JossandMain.com, share a laugh in the lounge/brainstorm area of the floor.
Lots of Snacks!
One of the many perks to working at Wayfair is a free, fully stocked snack kitchen. We have everything from pretzels and Doritos to Pop Tarts and Peanuts. We also have fresh fruits and vegetables delivered once a week for employees to enjoy.
May the décor be with you.
In November 2011, Wayfair employees collected and donated a whopping 4,230.5 Lbs. of food to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Thanks Emily Moore, a Senior Associate in the Data Compliance Department at Wayfair for overseeing the donation efforts for the third year in a row.
You never know who you’ll run into on Halloween at Wayfair. This group of employees decided to go with the M&M attire.
The view from the 24th floor, our lounge and cafeteria area, overlooking the Fenway area. If you look close enough, you can see the new Red Sox manager, Bobby Valentine.
Wayfair Lounge & Cafeteria
The Wayfair lounge and cafeteria, although quiet when this photo was taken, is always filled with people grabbing lunch, catching up, or playing a game of ping pong.
