Bain Capital Ventures is the Boston-based venture capital affiliate of Bain Capital and was founded with the mission of leveraging a customer focused and operational approach to helping young and growing entrepreneurial companies become market leaders. Bain Capital Ventures currently has over $1.4 billion in assets under management and is focused on investing in companies that meet the following criteria:

We invest in business services, consumer, healthcare, internet/mobile, and software businesses.
* Stage of Investment
We make investments across all stages of a company's growth: from providing seed capital through offering late stage growth equity and leveraged buyouts.
* Investment Size
Our investments tend to range from several hundred thousand dollars of seed capital up to $50 million of equity capital. We have the capability, through partnering with other Bain Capital affiliates, to lead transactions requiring equity capital in excess of $100 million.
