Arctaris provides royalty-based capital to expansion stage companies in the East, seeking $1-3M. It is one of a new generation of venture funds that are in tune with the times following the 2008 economic meltdown.

Founded in January, 2009, the principals bring years of investing experience from having raised, managed and invested multiple funds. Unlike nearly all other funds today, Arctaris does not have legacy investments to distract us from our current investing activity.

Companies should have revenue approaching or in excess of $5M, and perhaps upwards of $100M, and be profitable or on the cusp of profitability. This type of financing works well with private as well as small public companies who may be seeking ways to offer liquidity to their investors, through an exchange of securities. In addition, repayments in excess of the amount of funding is typically tax deductible to the Company.
