What is it like to work at your company in terms of your culture?
In just a few years, Pixability has grown from a small startup at the Cambridge Innovation Center to a technology company with Boston headquarters and offices in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, and London. We’ve built a rich culture along the way - rooted in our detailed Culture Code - and are invested in maintaining that same welcoming, motivating work environment as we expand.
We encourage all team members to contribute their ideas and solutions -- regardless of background or seniority – whether it’s a new software feature, a team outing idea, or a snack request.
We have an active Culture Committee, made up of employees across departments, who work to enhance our robust office culture. Initiatives include organizing our first company-wide Hackathon; weekly happy hours and catered lunch socials; regular in-office yoga, run club, book club, office massages, lunch-and-learn sessions, and volunteering opportunities.

What can someone expect during the interview process?
Interviewees can expect to meet with several members of the Pixability team, across departments, during the interview process. In addition to making sure their skill set is a fit for the role, it’s vitally important to us that new team members can collaborate company-wide.
What can people expect over the course of their career at Pixability?
Employees can expect to be challenged throughout their career at Pixability, to have their opinions valued and their voices heard, and to make a real impact on our company. We encourage employees to seek out new learning opportunities, and to understand how to be their most effective and productive selves. We want our teams to work hard but sustainably, and have a good dose of fun along the way.
Are there any favorite activities that the employees do outside of the office?
We celebrate our successes with quarterly company outings. We’ve done things together like sail around Boston Harbor, take a ride on Codzilla, cheer on the Celtics, and take cooking classes. We also have a lunchtime run club, and quarterly company-wide community outreach opportunities.
Are there any fun facts or unique stories that you can share about Pixability or individuals that work there?
Every year around the holidays we transform the office into a Swiss chalet and enjoy fondue together! It’s a tradition that we’ve maintained since Pixability’s earliest days.
What TV or movie would best describe the working environment and employees at Pixability?
Our office is exactly like the show Modern Family. We are slightly dysfunctional at times but all really love working with each other.
Do you have any unique benefits or perks?
We offer four weeks of vacation after one year with Pixability. We want our team members to unplug, enjoy a real break from work, and come back rested and rejuvenated. We also believe that becoming a parent is a major milestone, and offer 12 weeks of paid maternity and paternity leave for our new moms and dads.
What’s on tap or in your fridge?
That depends on which team is hosting Happy Hour this month! But on a daily basis you can open the fridge and find yogurt, fruit, carrots, hummus, cheese and other tasty food, or raid our snack closet for cereal, pretzels, trail mix, KIND bars and much more.
