Meet Our Management Team

Bettina Hein
Founder and CEO

Bettina Hein is the founder and CEO. She is a repeat entrepreneur based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Prior to founding Pixability, Bettina co-founded Swiss-based SVOX AG and led the venture-backed speech software company to profitability. Bettina was the initiator of the START, an organization that advances entrepreneurship among college students. In 2000, START received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Bettina holds a Master of Science degree from MIT, where she was a Sloan Fellow; a law degree from the University of Constance; and a degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen.

Andreas Goeldi
Chief Technology Officer

Andreas Goeldi is an experienced Internet technologist and online marketing expert with a passion for film and video. Andreas has worked in online marketing since the World Wide Web's earliest days. He co-founded Namics, one of Europe's largest online marketing agencies, Germany's largest blog network Blogwerk.com, and Buzzient, a U.S.-based social media analytics startup. Andreas' passion for film and video started when he bought his first Super 8 camera at the age of nine years, and he started programming at the age of 12. Andreas holds a S.M. in Management of Technology from MIT and a M.A. in Information Management from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.

Rob Ciampa
Chief Marketing Officer

Rob Ciampa is an award-winning sales and marketing executive responsible for bringing 75 innovative products with $1 billion in sales to global markets. At Pixability, Rob works with major brands, agencies, media companies, celebrities, and entertainment artists with YouTube strategy, marketing, and advertising.  A pioneer in the use of video for product marketing, Rob co-founded NetEffect and grew it into one of the world's largest specialized systems integration firms. Rob has a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA from Boston University, all with honors. He holds two patents in technology.

Art Zeidman
EVP Sales and Chief Revenue Officer

Art Zeidman has spent a lifetime in the media business.  Starting as a young man sweeping studio floors at NY’s WNYW-TV, he worked his way through a succession of Sales and Sales Management positions with Clear Channel, Univision, and CBS, before being recruited by Google in 2006 to help drive its agency business.  Most recently, Art built and ran the US operation for global social video distributor Unruly Media. He is based in New York and leads a nationwide team that works with major brands, agencies, and media companies on driving strategy, brand awareness, and business results with YouTube. Art is a graduate of New York University.

Pete Martin
VP of Engineering

Pete Martin is Vice President of Engineering. Pete, a technologist at heart with a passion for big data, machine learning and innovative web architectures, has been building scalable web systems and teams at software start-ups for nearly 15 years. Prior to joining Pixability, Pete was the VP of Engineering at Tremor Video, a video advertising and analytics platform serving billions of ads per month. He was the first employee and the Architect at ScanScout, the company that built the technology later acquired by Tremor. Pete is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. 

Steven Makarewicz
Senior Director and Head of Professional Services

Steven Makarewicz has over 15 years of digital and online experience. Prior to joining Pixability, Steven was ViewSation’s former Director of Corporate Development and Digital Strategy for business and product strategies, focused on strategic corporate partnerships. Steven held several executive positions at Commission Junctions managing search marketing, and was Lycos’ Director of Digital Media, responsible for the success and execution of a billion-dollar global media buy that included digital strategy display advertising, content marketing, and search marketing initiatives. Steven holds an MBA in Global Business from New Hampshire College and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts.
