Chief Executive Officer
Michael Evers is the Chief Executive Officer of The Learning Corp, chartered with leading the next generation digital therapeutics company as it scales operations and develops and delivers new apps for people living post stroke, with traumatic brain injuries, or with other neurological conditions like dementia.
Before joining The Learning Corp, Michael was Global Executive Vice President of Marketing, Operations and Product for PatientsLikeMe. In that position he led teams across marketing, UX/Design, product management, strategic partnerships and business intelligence as the company expanded after its $100m+ investment by digital health pioneer iCarbonX. Under his leadership the company tripled its member base, significantly increased member engagement, expanded from a 30-person startup into a 180-person industry leader, and strengthened its global impact with strategic business partnerships. Before joining PatientsLikeMe, Michael was President of BroadMap, a provider of industry-leading geographic data products that were later acquired by Apple. His geospatial industry experience started at TomTom in 2005, where he was the Global Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for the company’s Tele Atlas business unit. Michael has also held senior marketing positions at Motorola and AOL Time Warner.
Veera Anantha, PhD
President, Co-Founder, & CTO
Veera is a hands-on technology executive and business leader with a passion to bring positive change through the power of data and AI. At the Learning Corp, he oversees the development and delivery of an expanding line of next generation digital therapeutics products and services. He created Constant Therapy, an award-winning mobile app that uses artificial intelligence to help tens of thousands of people living with neurological conditions regain essential life skills.
Veera also successfully built a number of innovative products at other startups, including at a company acquired by Apple that developed the world’s fastest digital signal processor. He began his career as a Lead Engineer at Motorola developing mobile software and hardware products, and later, as Vice President of Engineering at a startup acquired by Motorola, developed software products that are now used worldwide to manage wireless networks. Veera has six technology patents and recently won TiE Boston’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He is an expert mentor at MassChallenge HealthTech and Insight Data Sciences, is a Charter Member of TiE Boston, and is a guest lecturer for Entrepreneurship at Questrom School of Business. Veera holds a PhD in electrical and computer engineering and a master of science degree in physics from Northwestern University, as well as a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.
Vice President, Business Intelligence & Market Intelligence
Brad directs our sales and customer support functions and is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships and new business initiatives. He joined The Learning Corp with an impressive track record of forging strategic partnerships that have created a new wave of progressive developments in healthcare.
Previously Brad was Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at PatientsLikeMe, where he rebuilt the company’s commercial strategy and pipeline, created new approaches to use patient reported health data to facilitate interactions between patients and providers, and led the integration of sales and partnership functions. Brad initially joined PatientsLikeMe in 2013 as Director, Strategic Partnerships and was later promoted to Senior Director, Care Solutions and Strategic Partnerships, during which time he formed the company’s first strategic partnerships with Walgreens, Partners Healthcare, Aetna and Medscape/WebMD. Before that Brad was a Product Manager at McKesson Specialty Health in San Francisco, where he originated and managed the company’s oncology loyalty and promotions programs. Brad began his career as a market research consultant with Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) directing teams working on a range of consumer goods companies.
Brad is a board member on the U.S. government’s Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC). He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University.
Rishi is a seasoned executive with 15+ years of experience building and scaling teams, creating operational infrastructure, and raising venture funds. His responsibilities at The Learning Corp span business and financial planning, capital strategy, business intelligence, and people operations.
Before joining The Learning Corp, Rishi led program management and operations at PatientsLikeMe, where he managed service delivery operations for life sciences clients and established and developed the company’s first program and operations team. Before that he was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and at Innosight, a firm founded by Harvard Business School Professor Clay Christensen. Rishi holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science degree from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Pune. He is a Board Member at World Education, Inc. a global non-profit dedicated to promoting education, and a Charter Member of TiE Boston. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including TEDx, MedicineX, and Health 2.0.
Kristin joined The Learning Corp as Vice President of Finance with over 12 years of experience in finance and accounting. She oversees daily accounting operations for the company, manages the preparation of all financial reports, and prepares annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Before joining The Learning Corp she served in senior positions at two other early stage digital health companies, as the Vice President of Finance and Controller for Seven Bridges Genomics, Inc. and as the Corporate Controller for PatientsLikeMe, Inc. Prior to that Kristin was the Senior Accounting Manager of Revenue at EnerNOC, a publicly-held energy management company in Boston. Kristin began her career as an auditor with Ernst & Young. Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting, both from the University of New Hampshire.
Co-Founder, Vice President, Advanced Technology & Data Science
Mahendra is a seasoned technologist with expertise in building and managing distributed software systems. A co-founder of the company, he architected the current version of the Constant Therapy product. He is currently responsible for designing our next generation products including the patented NeuroPerformance Engine, the revolutionary AI at the core of Constant Therapy and all of The Learning Corp’s products. He also oversees our data science function and IP development activities.
Before joining The Learning Corp, Mahendra spent two decades in the semiconductor manufacturing automation space. He was last at Applied Materials, where, as Member of Technical Staff, he designed and developed framework and infrastructure components for the company’s enterprise apps. Mahendra holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.
Head of Engineering
Deepak leads a growing team of engineers responsible for developing and delivering our consumer and enterprise products, which are helping tens of thousands of people reignite their brains and regain their essential skills. His technical experience over two decades includes scaling and leading engineering teams and delivering cloud-based mobile SaaS products in high growth enterprise and consumer environments, including in telecom, gaming, auction, and retail companies.
Before joining The Learning Corp, Deepak was Director of Engineering at ThirdChannel, where he was responsible for designing and delivering the company’s mobile product line and all the technologies that supported it. Before that he was the Mobile Architect and Engineering Manager at Invaluable, where he led the transition of iOS native app development in-house and revamped the app, resulting in double digit revenue increases.
Deepak has held other lead engineering positions at a wide range of companies, including Game Show Network, Wave2Wave Communications, Vivox, Inc., Soundbite and NMS Communications.
Deepak holds a master of science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) a master’s degree in general management from Harvard University’s Extension School, and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Mumbai.
Margot Carlson Delogne
VP, Marketing & Communications
Margot has held senior marketing and communications positions across a range of high tech companies, including some of the world’s most innovative startups and publicly-traded companies in healthcare, consumer electronics and enterprise computing.
Before joining The Learning Corp, Margot was Vice President at PatientsLikeMe, where she directed strategic communications for the world’s first patient network and real world research platform. Before that she was Vice President, Global Communications for TomTom, where she developed and managed the communications strategy for TomTom’s €2 billion acquisition of digital mapping company Tele Atlas. Earlier in her career Margot consulted with or worked for companies undergoing transitions and acquisitions, including DigitalGlobe, Progress Software and Dun & Bradstreet Software.
