In October of 2014, a team of Harvard and MIT alumni set out to transform the beverage industry and hired their first BevSpot employee. Since then, we’ve raised $19 million in funding and have rocketed to a team of almost 70. With endless global potential in a $1 trillion industry, we are are modernizing the global beverage space by providing businesses with powerful technology, data and insights to replace traditional pen and paper processes.

We are looking for an experienced VP of Marketing. Reporting directly into the CEO, this hands-on leadership role will be responsible for building and managing a team and ensuring a high performing  modern day digital marketing engine including product marketing and demand generation. This person will create compelling messaging and positioning, jointly set the go-to-market strategy, enable our sales team, and create demand generation programs to ensure we achieve our goals. This is a massive opportunity to be a key part of the leadership team that scales us to $10M+ ARR.

What you will do

  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering and Design to ensure product strategy, messaging and launches are effective and cohesive and support BevSpot’s revenue goals from a marketing perspective
  • Own the development of positioning, messaging, branding, and market strategy of BevSpot’s products and services
  • Manage demand generation programs, conversion metrics, new business revenue cost and more
  • Launch new product features and explain why new capabilities matter to customers and prospects
  • Make data driven decisions that will support BevSpots revenue goals when building marketing programs
  • In collaboration with sales, continuously refine comprehensive go-to-market plan.
  • Ensure rigor and discipline across company-wide programs that support integrated marketing and business development models
  • Guide development of premium content and engaging presentations, one-pagers, case studies, research reports, blog posts, social media, and webinars to highlight BevSpot’s innovative value proposition and drive inbound marketing leads
  • Directly develop and manage a high-performing marketing organization
  • Invest in your people at all levels. They will need your leadership and mentoring for continued success as we grow
  • Continue to build upon BevSpot’s amazing culture—specifically by inspiring your team through growth and learning
  • Continue to grow your team, attract, develop and retain a high performing marketing organization

  • You live in Boston or are planning on relocating here
  • This isn’t your first rodeo, You have personally led the scaling of a SaaS marketing  team in a rapid growth environment
  • You have the unique balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution skills required to help design, implement, and execute against a rapidly scaling organization. We are an all hands on deck organization!!
  • You have a data-driven and analytical mindset combined with a flair for storytelling and an empathy for the customer
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, demand generation, brand, sales and business development; along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
  • Strong understanding and experience in SaaS, B2B SMB sales, inbound content, and freemium product qualified-inbound marketing
  • Proven track record of facilitating successful team performance against a multitude of objectives with limited resources
  • Highly motivated and extremely results focused
