UX/UI Web Designer

Reports to Product Manager

As UX/UI Web Designer, you will collaborate with cross-function teams from concept to launch to create intuitive, engaging and brand-consistent design solutions. You will be required to utilize your full range of design, communication and problem solving skills to create a variety of assets for our website, newsletters, email marketing and promotional materials, presentations and more.

General Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects from concept through execution
• Work collaboratively with marketing, merchandisers and developers on ongoing design solutions
• Articulate and design concept interactions across platforms: web, phone, tablet and email
• Work with the product team to develop and lead user research and testing

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• An online portfolio that displays an elevated sense of layout, form, color, and strong typography, iconography, illustration and web design skills
• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to empathize with a variety of different types of users
• Ability to document user experience and interactivity through wireframes, flowcharts, screenshots, design specifications and demos
• Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate designs
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload to meet project milestones and deadlines

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent within a creative-related field

• 3-5 years of professional web design experience

• Experience with responsive design a plus
• Experience with e-commerce, Magento and retail centric design a plus
• Experience in Product photography a plus
