CrunchTime! has an immediate opening for a fulltime Technical Lead Java / Web Developer. This person will provide the technical leadership required to build and maintain our world class ERP suite.  The ideal candidate has proven experience as a technical lead on mission critical projects.

Primary role:

  • The development role is split between architecting and hands-on development of critical system components across the core application and front end.  The application side utilizes Java, Groovy, Perl, and Tomcat while the front end uses JSP, JavaScript, and Ajax.
  • Work directly with the project manager to provide estimates, establish deadlines, and assist with the design and development of complex effort
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision while ensuring the highest quality assurance and testing standards. 

Ideal Skills:

  • Experience developing large scale enterprise applications with J2EE technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of the latest client side technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
  • Strong knowledge of Perl or PHP
  • Nice to have experience with GWT, JSON, CSS, JMS, SQL, IBatis
  • Managing cross-browser incompatibilities
  • Experience working with an agile SDLC.

The Crunchtime! environment is very fast paced and requires the Developers to be able to process and develop complex business requirements in a rapidly changing environment.
