The Memento team at FIS is a fast-paced, dynamic group
developing cutting-edge, search engine based software technology that combats
fraud and manages fraud investigations in the financial services arena. Our
client base is growing quickly, and as a result, our team is growing too. We are
looking to add a Solution Consultant to our Client Services team. This essential
role provides both consultative and some technical pre-sales engineering
support, post-sales software implementation and ongoing managed services to
maximize our customer's value.
What does a Solution Consultant do?
Solution Consultants work directly with clients, occasionally on site,
throughout the implementation lifecycle and beyond, to define and implement
business requirements. Solution Consultants are hands-on with importing data
into the Memento system, configuring fraud analytics and working directly with
business users to ensure their success.
Essential Functions:
Consult with clients daily, occasionally on site, to understand business
requirements in order to implement Memento's search engine-based technology.
Use technical skills to ingest and orchestrate data with Memento's search
engine technology.
Apply mathematical, statistical and analytical expertise to develop business
logic.
Configure the user interface to enable the client to efficiently use our
products.
Work with clients both pre- and post-sales to help them understand how to
use our technologies, bridging the gap between business users and technology.
Clearly communicate client needs to Memento's software development experts
to customize solutions.
Help define product scope, objectives, requirements, data models, and
documents them accordingly.
Requirements:
At least 3-5 years of client-facing experience in technical sales,
information technology, consulting or engineering. Experience performing
pre-sales proof of concept engagements and implementing production enterprise
software solutions.
Experience with Windows IT infrastructure, such as task orchestration,
networking or performance monitoring.
Experience working with search engine technology, ETL, data warehousing, or
business intelligence.
Data management experience - ability to parse large quantities of
transactional data.
Strong scripting and object-oriented coding skills: C#, Bash, Batch (or
similar) XML required.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience in the Retail Banking or other financial services environment is
a plus.
Knowledge of core banking systems, such as FiServ, Fidelity Information
Systems, Metavante is a major plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint / WSS and .Net is a plus.
Knowledge of anti-fraud systems and fraud scenarios is a plus.
BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math.
Note: Candidates must be willing to travel 10-25% of their time to client
sites to ensure success.
