Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer you will join a cross functional team that will be defining the next big step in commerce technology

  • Translate requirements into software designs
  • Accurately and quickly estimate the cost to implement your design.
  • Write automated tests to prove your code is complete.
  • Communicate and collaborate with others in a cross function group of developers, ui/ux designers and product managers.

Qualifications:

You must have a proven track record of shipping high performing, mission critical, well structured code as well as the following attributes:

  • Creative – You must be able to propose solutions to ambiguous problems.
  • Self Driven – You will work with a team that will be counting on you, so you must be independent and decisive.
  • Open Minded – New ideas are everywhere, we are always seeking ways to improve.
  • Quick Learning – In a fast pace environment you will have to absorb a lot of new information quickly.
  • Detail Oriented – This is required for creating, describing and coding reliable and maintainable solutions.

 

  • OOP Skills in at least one of Java, C++, Ruby, Actionscript.
  • Strong knowledge of databases and distributed systems.
  • UI technologies such as JSP, PHP, JQuery a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in CS or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce systems a plus.
