Software Development Engineer, Web & Mobile

enLabel®, the world leader in Integrated Packaging Management solutions, is searching for highly motivated, creative, energetic, process driven, organized, and methodical software engineer to work on exciting Client/Server Web and Mobile Applications. The ideal candidate must be able to take direction from team members, work independently and in a team environment.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and deploy Web Based applications for commercial use on PC’s and Mobile devices
• End-to-end development of software applications including user interfaces, business logics and database backbends
• Create software requirements, configuration and design specifications
• Create logic flow and process diagrams and documentation for all aspects of the product life cycle
• Develop new modules, enhancements to existing programs, and new products
• Maintain existing programs, solve and fix technical issues for client applications and product platforms
• Interface with project managers and on an as needed basis directly with clients
• Work on software development, quality assurance, system configuration and deployments
• Ownership of enLabel’s IPM platform through the design, development, QA and deployment processes

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Positive, result driven and a ‘can do’ attitude
• Logical thinker and the ability to think out of the box; always seeking to make a difference within the team, organization, and company
• Excellent in documentation and have demonstrated practices of Software Development Life Cycle
• Great presentation, communication, writing skills and to willing to travel (up to 20%)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Required

Software and Language Expertise:

• Expertise and C# coding and development of web based applications graphical user interfaces in Microsoft  .net framework  - .net 2 and .net 4
• Expertise in building web based applications interfacing MS SQL – SQL Server 2005 and 2008, and Oracle
• Highly skilled in using Stored Procs and SQL views in developing database interfaces
• Highly skilled in MS OS – windows Server 2003 and 2008 – 32 and 64 bit editions
• Highly skilled in MS IIS server – Versions 6 and 7
• Highly skilled in writing HTML and with XML
• Highly skilled in developing Web services
• Highly skilled in ASP.net (webforms)  and  Classic ASP.net
• Highly skilled in AJAX  and SOAP technologies
• Highly skilled in JavaScript, VB and VB script for Classic ASP

Desirable Technical Skills:

• C++ and Microsoft visual studios framework
• Silverlight Framework
• Experience with multi platform web and mobile development environments and tools

Development Tools:

• Visual Studio 2005 and 2010
• Visual Source Safe version 2005 +
• Microsoft Expression Blend (Silverlight)
