Kiva is looking for multiple software engineers at the mid-senior level who are talented, mature, motivated, and enjoy working in a fast paced development organization.

As a Kiva software engineer, you will design, implement and test key components of Kiva’s warehouse automation system software and applications, collaborating cross-functionally to define clear requirements, deliverables, and test cases.

Candidates will have the following qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science
• 4+ years of experience developing object oriented software with Java and/or C++
• Experience designing and implementing highly available soft real-time systems
• Strong background in developing complex enterprise class software running on embedded or server platforms a plus
• Solid understanding of one or more of the following technologies:
• Spring, JBoss, Hibernate, JAXB, JMS, JDBC, JAXB, JUnit, REST, Swing, XML, Microsoft MQ/IBM Websphere MQ
• Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings
• Strong communication skills and effective team player
• Familiarity with fast growing companies and the associated deadlines and high-energy culture that goes along with launching new products.
