Position Overview
Responsibilities
The Senior SAP/ERP Business Analyst is responsible for delivering and supporting application lifecycle projects utilizing commercial, open source and custom-developed software by partnering with Endeca business process owners and IT team members.
* Co-leads delivery of all project (development) phases.
* C0-leads the backlog of requests and prioritizes their delivery with the team.
* Gather, analyze and document business / technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users.
* Create “as is” and “to be” business process and solution design documents using requirements gathered.
* Write technical and functional specifications for IT team members.
* Perform application configuration activities.
* Create unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.
* Conduct unit, integration and user acceptance testing activities.
* Manage the delivery of all projects, including project plans, status meetings, progress reports and initiation/closure activities.
* Create, deliver and present end-user training materials.
Skills
• Needs assessment, project scoping, and business requirements definition
• SAP SD, , and variant configuration knowledge and experience
• Month end closing (system activities) activity coordination and execution
• Application lifecycle experience
• Experience with both waterfall and agile (Scrum) project methodologies
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP SD,and variant configuration experience
• Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities, self-directed.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
• Strong business integrity
• Team oriented and interested in sharing commitment to goals and objectives
