Sales Trainer

Our product is great. Our market is huge. We're looking to grow like crazy and need great people to join the sales team and get it done. The Sales Trainer runs point on all sales curriculum, supporting a team of over 60 BDRs, Account Execs, and management layer. The Sales Trainer will report directly to the VP of Inside Sales.

About You:

  • Strong background in sales, with proven record of success

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coach

  • Strong ability to multi-task, coordinate calendars, create content, and lead lessons

  • Desire to source content from the in-house subject matter experts while leading the charge on other initiatives

  • A real hands on personality, that wants to learn the role and lead by example

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales leadership and front line contributors to establish the future curriculum and needs

  • Build lasting content while delivering passionate sessions

  • Own the calendar, ensuring all sales roles get the requisite amount of training each month

  • Build a curriculum and accreditation system to help track reps through their “Sales MBA”

  • Hold reps and management accountable to the lesson plans

  • Prepares new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance; scheduling orientation drive-alongs with senior representatives.

  • Determines training needs by “shadowing” sales representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers.
