Nasuni Corporation is searching for a highly analytical and organized individual to join our team and take on the role of Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst. This individual will support our Sales and Marketing organizations in harnessing the potential of our Salesforce and Marketo implementations, and will to provide mission-critical data management, decision support and reporting to the executive management team.
This role provides the opportunity for significant growth, with the potential to assume increased responsibility and to broaden the scope of his/her work to be the “go to” person supporting the executive team, including the Chief Financial Officer and the heads of Sales Marketing and Services & Support.
Collaborate in establishing Marketing and Sales data flows and processes surrounding the lead generation to prospect to customer lifecycle. Ensure that the data flows and processes continue to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
Become an expert user of Salesforce and Marketo.
Manage all activities related to the day-to-day operations of customized Salesforce and Marketo implementations.
Build & maintain customized Salesforce and Marketo reports and dashboards that meet cross-functional needs and produce relevant and useful data.
Upgrade existing Salesforce and Marketo implementation and supporting applications wherever possible. Rationalize and streamline data entry requirements wherever possible.
Forecasting & Analytics
Make recommendations and produce solutions for tackling the tough questions and challenges of the Sales and Marketing teams and the organization by using existing and attainable data; collect, manage, and analyze data essential to strategic planning and execution for the Sales and Marketing teams.
Training & Support
Drive adoption of Salesforce and Marketo applications and tools across the Sales and Marketing teams; design appropriate training, resources, and tools. Provide training to Sales and Marketing teams as required.
Provide systems and information support to the Sales and Marketing teams as required. Become a “go to” resource for those teams.
Participate in weekly Sales pipeline meetings for all sales team, including ensuring that accurate data is available for the meetings.
Participate in weekly Marketing performance review meetings, including updating key metric and performance data on recent & past programs.
Prepare weekly reporting for the Management team and periodic reporting for the Board of Directors on Sales and Marketing performance and trends.
Liaise with the Finance department for customer invoicing, sales commissions, forecasts and budgets.
Candidate Qualifications and Competencies
Desire to work in a fast paced start-up environment in the high-profile cloud storage market space.
Successful project management experience that involves complex, entrepreneurial and culture change elements. Ability to problem-solve, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that requires managing multiple changing priorities and projects while driving toward deadlines.
Ability to function effectively within cross-functional teams and with people from all levels of the organization.
Strong learning orientation, i.e. the ability and willingness to learn and grow from mistakes.
Strong system and process orientation, i.e. the ability to learn new systems and to be able to map between processes and systems.
Commitment to delivering high-quality work product and attention to detail.
Expertise with Salesforce reporting, applications, and tools are a plus. Expertise with Marketo (or Eloqua or Pardot) reporting and on-going management are a plus.
