We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of sales leadership experience in a SaaS company, and excels working in a fast paced environment. In this newly created role, you'll lead and coach a team of Workable's Account Executives responsible for new business growth. This is a frontline role, with a new team, so you should use your sales experience and creativity to drive for business growth. Extraordinary communication and team management skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing, motivating and leading a team of Account Executives to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and activity metrics
  • Spend 40% of time coaching (listening on calls) and providing tactical advice to reps
  • Ensure that the reps are presenting Workable and effectively delivering it's value proposition
  • Weekly One on Ones with Account Executives
  • Quarterly performance reviews
  • Manage and monitor operations with a daily / weekly / monthly reporting cadence
  • Weekly forecast reviews with senior leadership
  • Develop strong working relationships with sales operations, sales enablement, and demand generation and product marketing
  • Partner closely with Business Development team to maximize new business opportunities from qualified leads
  • Ensure the team's sales activity is logged completely and accurately in Salesforce.com
  • Consolidating feedback from the team to discuss with senior management
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
  • Continuous skills development of Account Executives
  • Using your natural curiosity, communication skills and ambition to improve your performance and the performance of the team

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • 2-5 years' experience as a Sales Manager
  • Track record of managing a high-performance sales team (preferably in SaaS selling into SMB space)
  • Knowledge of SFDC and Google applications
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as required (domestically and internationally)

  • Understanding of the SaaS, technology or recruiting industry
  • Sandler Sales Methodology Training
