Position Overview:
We are looking for a smart and dynamic sales leader to lead a Sales Development team at QuickBase.  The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Program is maturing and looking for a leader to help optimize current state and be the catalyst in our new go to market strategy. This team is responsible for handling all inbound and outbound lead activity and qualifying opportunities for the sales organization.  In addition to team building and lead qualification, the Manager will be the front line eyes and ears for the organization as we learn about new markets and buyer personas.  This is a great opportunity to help scale the SDR function at a high growth software company.  The ideal candidate will be a proven sales performer and have a solid understanding of the qualifying and discovery process. 
  • Develop a high performance SDR team through day to day coaching and continuous professional development through:
  • Focus on Meeting/Discovery/Pipeline creation
  • Focus on time to first touch
  • Consistent call and email attainment
  • Develop call plans and prospecting strategy for SDR team
  • Work with SDR Leader and Sales Managers to develop account based selling strategy
  • Lead Sandler reinforcement and execution
  • Lead scrubbing, assignment and optimization
  • Work with SDR Leader to create, implement and reinforce sales training through:
  • Driving weekly 1 on 1s and role play sessions
  • Classroom sessions
  • Lead hiring and performance management processes
  • Identify and research new buyer personas and verticals
  • Train new hires on CRM and sales process
  • Work cross functionally with Sales and Marketing Managers
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • 3+ years of SaaS selling (closing) experience
  • Aptitude and passion for learning technical concepts/terms
  • Understanding of inbound and outbound sales methodologies and processes
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation
