As Bullhorn's Revenue Manager, you will assume a high profile leadership position in a fast growing, Boston-based technology company. This role will be an integral part of the finance function at Bullhorn and be responsible for the managerial oversight of the end-to-end Order to Cash cycle including billing, revenue recognition, and cash application of a multi-national corporation.You will supervise a staff of five to six individuals in driving process improvements, effective controls over financial reporting and predictability to our global accounting close cycle and business processes. The Revenue Manager will also be a technical lead and help to drive the company’s efforts to adopt the new revenue standard (ASC 606).

As a Revenue Manager, a typical day might include:

  • Manage all revenue related functions, supporting systems, and business processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the company’s revenue recognition policy
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all month, quarter, and year-end revenue related close times
  • Ensure all revenue related contracts are recognized in accordance with US GAAP and company policy
  • Build and administer best in class policies and controls regarding the revenue cycle.
  • Interface with outside auditors on revenue and related technical accounting positions
  • Interface with outside auditors on revenue and related technical accounting positions
  • Subject matter expert on continued enhancements of financial systems & integrations including Callidus, Zuora, Softrax, & OpenAir.
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration for certain types of transactions

This job might be for you if:

  • You are highly process oriented with a passion for leadership
  • Are skilled at assessing risk and building effective controls to mitigate these risks.
  • Have experience with SaaS/Multiple-element arrangement revenue recognition experience, including VSOE/TPE/BESP analysis
  • Have the ability to work cross functionally to interpret contract language and provide business advice on contract structure.
  • Are data driven and comfortable with financial systems.
  • Have advanced excel skills such as pivot tables and data analysis

Bonus points for:

  • CPA certification & public accounting experience is a plus
  • Experience with technology and/or high growth organization
