Job Purpose:

  • Seeking experienced QA/Technical Support Engineer with expertise in telecom/cellular technology.
  • Must be intuitive, creative, and possess excellent documentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and implementing test strategies and test plans
  • Experience establishing, implementing, and maintaining test scripts
  • Perform both automated and hands-on testing
  • Identify/log defects and drive resolution/validation of bug fixes
  • Must be familiar with networking protocols and principals
  • Experience with cellular routing and telecom infrastructure
  • Oracle database administration familiarity is a plus
  • Familiar with API integration and test
  • SOAP test knowledge is a definite plus
  • Must have experience with SVN or CVS software revision control

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, CS, IT or equivalent
  • 2 – 8 years of testing and QA experience
  • Working experience in wireless Telecom environment strongly preferred
  • Experience in QA life cycle, test planning, and test execution
  • Experience in LAN/WAN technology, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and SS7
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must have strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work in both a team and individual contributer environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player with a “do what it takes” attitude
