Job Purpose:
Seeking experienced QA/Technical Support Engineer with expertise in telecom/cellular technology.
Must be intuitive, creative, and possess excellent documentation skills.
Qualifications:
Experience developing and implementing test strategies and test plans
Experience establishing, implementing, and maintaining test scripts
Perform both automated and hands-on testing
Identify/log defects and drive resolution/validation of bug fixes
Must be familiar with networking protocols and principals
Experience with cellular routing and telecom infrastructure
Oracle database administration familiarity is a plus
Familiar with API integration and test
SOAP test knowledge is a definite plus
Must have experience with SVN or CVS software revision control
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering, CS, IT or equivalent
2 – 8 years of testing and QA experience
Working experience in wireless Telecom environment strongly preferred
Experience in QA life cycle, test planning, and test execution
Experience in LAN/WAN technology, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and SS7
Strong problem solving skills
Must have strong written and verbal skills
Ability to work in both a team and individual contributer environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong team player with a “do what it takes” attitude
