About the Position:
Get in on the ground floor of an amazing opportunity. We are a small but already profitable B2C division of a mid-sized, fast-growing B2B Saas business.  We are separately funded by our parent company’s private equity firm, so we operate like a venture-backed startup. The team today is very small, just the GM and a handful of contractors.  This is a ground floor growth opportunity in a company targeting one of the few sectors of the economy poised for explosive growth over the next decade

Primary job responsibilities:
• Help define product strategy and roadmap for both the consumer and business-to-business sides of a product targeting the $2 billion+ healthcare recruitment and job search industry.
• Become a true expert in the perceptions, needs, goals, fears, behaviors and business processes of both healthcare recruiters and hospital job seekers and workers.
• Conduct consumer/customer development activities including ongoing customer and market research to help determine and prioritize roadmap deliverable and identify growth opportunities.
• Create and maintain key customer development documents including product briefs, workflow reference documents and product roadmaps.
• Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure feasibility and on-time delivery of feature sets in a Lean Startup environment
• Conduct Web analytics investigations for online marketing (SEO, SEM, display) activities and onsite user behaviors; use results to drive business recommendations and decisions.
• Help conceptualize and execute go-to market planning, beta trials, and launch activities.
• Have fun trying to change the world for the better.

About the Right Candidate:
• 3-5 years of Product Management experience, preferably in a consumer environment with heavy emphasis on using Web analytics to drive business decisions
• Proven ability to initiate and articulate product/feature requirements for consumer or SaaS products. Should be able to provide examples of work.
• A bias toward action, and a commitment to moving quickly.
• Detail oriented as needed, with an aptitude for developing structure
• Superior analytical, writing, verbal and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of the latest software, GUI and internet technologies.
• Team player with demonstrated communication and leadership skills. Comfortable leading meetings and presenting in front of groups of colleagues, partners or customers.
• Experience in a Agile SCRUM methodology environment is a bonus.
• Can immediately change direction when the facts and assumptions change.
• Ability to leap into the fire; must be willing and able to hit the ground running and add value from the start.
