Position Summary:
The Product Manager reports to the VP, Marketing and Product Management and is
responsible for managing the features and functions of the CRUNCH platform. The
primary responsibilities include the collection of internal and external
customer requirements, conducting market research, developing and documenting detailed
requirements, managing a prioritization process with all constituents, and launch
activities such as internal training and beta programs. The product manager
requires a blend of software expertise, product vision and market knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specify
feature requirements for current and future products and document customer use
cases for all assigned products through market research and customer
interactions
- Manage
the triage and prioritization process to ensure proper commitment of resources
in alignment with ongoing customer activities and strategic initiatives
- Participate
in the complete product lifecycle including market and competitive research,
product release plans, and product launch and tactical activities
- Work
with the VP, Marketing and Product Management and the engineering team to define
current and future product roadmaps that align to the strategic goals of CRUNCH
- Drive
and communicate competitive assessment to ensure sales team can overcome
objections presented in highly competitive sales engagements
- Work
with the Project Manager to manage beta projects and fulfill all activities
related to organizational readiness during product launches
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+
years of enterprise software product management with experience in an Agile
methodology
- Experience
in digital display advertising in ad serving, campaign management, trading
desks, and real time bidding
- Strong
self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced software development
environment
- Demonstrated
ability to understand a product strategy and drive all requirements and
priorities to achieve the strategy
- Demonstrated
ability to bring new products to market in emerging competitive environment
- Demonstrated
ability to translate business problems into detailed product requirements
- Demonstrated
ability to think out of the box, defining not what is common or requested, but
what could be
- Exceptional
communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
- Bachelor
degree required, preferably in Software Engineering or related field.
- Ability
to travel – approximately 10%
