As part of Akamai’s Global Services and Support division, you will play a key role providing Akamai’s customers with solutions giving them a competitive advantage.
About the Job
As a Product Line Manager your work will make a direct impact to Akamai’s evolving Service & Support product line. Akamai’s Service & Support team is targeted at dramatically growing services revenue & corporate revenue. Within the Service & Support Product Team, you will have the opportunity to help extend Akamai’s presence within our customer base. This will be done by developing the appropriate messaging and tools to establish a differentiated Service & Support brand. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy to successfully execute this role.
Responsibilities
* Define requirements for adapting and implementing new services into Akamai’s current Service & Support offerings.
* Modify existing Akamai products and services to ensure customer revenue and revenue contribution.
* Own and implement a product roadmap for future Service & Support Products.
* Working closely with engineering and a full cross-functional team including product marketing, sales, channels, service and support, network and operations, integration services, customer care, and billing.
* Attend relevant industry trade-shows and sponsorship events.
* Analyzing potential partner relationships and associated products.
Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Sciences, Engineering or relevant field.
* Overall Experience: 5+ years.
* Experience with product management and product development.
* Experience in a high-tech Service & Support organization.
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple product launches.

* Situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations.
* Ability to gather data from the market and customers to analytically determine business priorities.
* Desire for on-going challenges and interest in continuously learning.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences.
