Principal UI Software Engineer

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will join a team of engineers that designs and builds a world class, highly scalable, 'Big Data' Predicitive Analytics SaaS platform.  In this hand's on role you will design and implement innovative, elegant and incredibly easy to use solutions to challenging product requirements. The successful candidate will have broad product experience building rich web-based applications and UIs.  The candidate will also have strong collaborative and communication skills and able to work in a fast paced agile/SCRUM environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a team responsible for the design and development of the UI and presentation layer for a “Big Data” Predictive Analytics SaaS based platform
• Designing and developing applications and solutions with attention towards usability, simplicity, efficiency and supportability
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development framework and processes
• Educating professional services, support specialists and users on effective use of the platform
• Mentoring of junior software engineers

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required
• 10+ years developing UI for enterprise applications
• Broad experience with modern UI frameworks and platforms such as jQuery, Ext JS, Swing, Flex, Zend, etc.
• Strong UI/UX development skills in HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XML, XSLT, DHTML and AJAX
• Industry experience programming in Java, C++ or C#
• Knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
• Broad experience with internet protocols and technologies
• Experience with developing UI for mobile considered favorably
