Endeca is looking for an experienced and energetic technical lead to define, and drive to market, Endeca’s Data Ingest products and solutions for Agile BI and eBusiness markets.

We are looking for proven technical leaders who will help drive the evolution of Endeca’s core data integration capabilities. Today, Endeca’s ETL solution provides the ability to acquire, enrich, and combine content from any source into a single integrated view in Endeca's MDEX Engine. 

The team is in the early stages of defining and building Endeca’s next generation solution for integrating all unstructured and structured data into the MDEX engine.  The technical lead will drive a solution to meet complex data load needs through an extensible architecture that can scale to support hundreds of millions of records, while providing customers a rapid and iterative experience for configuring and inspecting data integration.  The lead will also help drive strategies to improve data update latency and move towards an ELT (Extract, Load, and then Transform) model.

The team needs a strong lead with vision to address these technical challenges.  The lead will also provide technical mentorship on an agile team to effectively and consistently deliver well-designed, high quality software for this highly visible project.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead all aspects of the software life-cycle, including: definition, design, implementation, testing and delivery.
- Provide technical leadership on an agile team to deliver software in response to business and technical requirements
- Drive the design and approach for solving challenging problems aligned with Endeca’s Data Ingest strategy
- Contribute to the evolution of Endeca’s Data Ingest strategy

Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in software development
- Strong skills in Object Oriented design and development
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Architectural / Design Experience
- Significant experience with Java
