Payment Processing Software Engineer, Full time – Cambridge, MA

Punchey is recruiting a talented and driven developer to take part in building out the next generation mobile payments platform. The Responsibilities: 

You’ll be working with a talented group of engineers in designing, coding and launching our beta product. You’ll be responsible for making architectural and design decisions, creating and turning specifications into reliable, testable code, and maintaining and iterating on our beta platform once in production. We use an agile development methodology to quickly get products live and refine based on user and customer feedback.

The Experience:

 We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building new, meaningful technology.

• 3+ years of payment processing experience
• Track record of building and coding scalable, efficient web applications, third party integrations and data analysis programs
• Experience with object oriented programming (Java,C++)
• Experience in a mobile payments company is a plus
• History of solving tough problems with creative and analytical solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• BA/BS or higher from top computer science program
