Position

The Marketing Analyst is a member of the Consumer Marketing department and will provide analytics support for BzzAgent’s online and offline word-of-mouth marketing programs, as well as manage internal data operations. The right individual will have demonstrated analytics experience, preferably in a marketing and/or media capacity. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and will have multiple career paths for growth, including product management and client facing roles.

Responsibilities

This position’s responsibilities include:

•    Manage BzzAgent’s internal data systems, including web analytics, business intelligence, and proprietary internal software
•    Field and execute ad-hoc data and research requests from internal and external clients
•    Utilize existing tools and create new ones to streamline operations and allow data to be shared effectively across the
      organization
•    Work with client services, sales, and technology teams to bridge communications and insure that data needs are met
•    Generate useful insights from data to inform marketing programs and consumer experiences

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will demonstrate successful experience with the responsibilities detailed above, and will possess many if not all of the following important traits:

•    2-5 years directly relevant analytics experience, preferably in a media/marketing/agency context
•    Working knowledge of Business Objects, Crystal Reports, SPSS and Excel
•    Proficient in SQL
•    Experience with design and analysis of quantitative and qualitative research studies
•    Exceptional organizational and project management skills (candidates must be truly gifted at managing multiple priorities,
     projects and clients in a calm, professional manner)
•    Strong speaking, writing and presentation skills (proofing skills required)
•    Ability to influence colleagues to adhere to deadlines and deliverables
•    Ability to work individually or as a team player, and who can interact with a variety of individuals across groups (software
     development, client services, sales, etc.)
•    Personable, professional and pleasant demeanor
•    Experience running Web QA and related project testing a plus
•    Enthusiasm for social media and marketing trends

Education

Bachelors degree, preferably in a related field.
