Position Overview

We are looking for talented mobile developers to join an entrepreneurial team focused on bringing mobile solutions to Endeca’s current and future customers.  We are looking for developers who can develop native iPhone and Android applications, and also HTML based web applications for a variety of mobile devices. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to develop intuitive and innovative user interfaces and will be able to create applications that are configurable, extensible, and highly repeatable.

Responsibilities
• Participation in all aspects of software development: definition, design, implementation, testing, documentation, delivery, etc.
• Analysis, design, and development of mobile applications
• Development and execution of software tests and debugging routines
• Enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software modules
• Participate in technical documentation process
• Periodic contributions to planning and estimation activities

Required Experience
• BS in Computer Science or related area
• 3+ years software development experience
• Experience with one or more of the following:
    Mobile web development and testing
    iPhone/Objective C applications
    Android applications
    Adobe Flex/ActionScript UI development
• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
• Excellent technical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience as a self-starter

Additional Experience in any of the following is a plus:
• Experience in e-commerce or media industries
• Experience with search applications
• Experience with content management systems
• Experience with web analytics solutions
• Experience with SEO and SEM
