Qualifications
- Ph. D degree in electrical engineering/computer science with focus (on Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Nature Language Processing, Information Retrieval), Statistics, Operations Research, or equivalent quantitative discipline
- Solid theoretical foundation in statistical modeling/machine learning algorithms
- Love coding, with 5+ years hands on experience in at least 2 of Java, C/C++, Python, Shell scripts
- 5+ years experience open source or commercial machine learning/statistical modeling packages and/or libraries
- Solid foundation in rdbms systems and exposure noSql systems with 3+ years using these tools in solving significant problems
- Experience in developing commercial Internet/Mobile applications, mobile computing and/or cloud computing a plus
