Senior Technical Product Manager

Position Summary:

Verivo Software is looking for people that can execute on an idea, build detailed specs, understand engineering requirements, and work closely in cross-functional teams to get the job done. We value those with exceptional technical skills who want to work with others in a fun, challenging and ever-changing environment.

This position is responsible for the execution of product strategies and objectives across the company. Including being responsible for identifying and executing new product development initiatives by initiating research and analysis, leading product ideation sessions, leading mid to major development projects, and taking ownership of the product development process function. This position displays leadership, independence, persuasiveness, tact, and management qualities to accomplish its annualized goal and objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Senior Technical Product Manager will 

• Research the market and competitors, analyzing opportunity and the competitive landscape
• Participate in cross-functional product, sales, relationship management, marketing and development teams to ensure solutions meet needs across organizations
• Work with engineers to define, build, and spec new products
• Work with UI/UX to develop the user interaction flows
• Package products for internal launch efforts, ensuring the key stakeholders understand product capabilities and external value propositions

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience with professional software/hardware product development, with 3-5 years in a product, project, or engineering leadership role
• Strong organizational & analytical skills
• Must have strong communications skills and  be able to effectively engage with both engineering and sales audiences across different levels of technical understanding
• Agile/Scrum Experience
• Strong written skills and attention to detail – must be able to write thorough product specifications and launch communications
• Ability to grasp technical concepts, business goals, and the user experience, and optimize products given resource constraints
• Proven ability to define and execute product innovations
• Experience with mobile development or mobile technologies a plus
