Overview:

As a Lead Developer at True Office, you would be responsible for developing interactive web based, mobile, and/or desktop applications using Industry best practices to deliver high value and quality to True Office clients and resellers.  The Lead Developer works closely with Game Designers and Application Developers to build highly efficient, user-friendly, applications.

You would evaluate and recommend appropriate usage of Rich-UI components and capabilities to enhance the user experience.  You would also be responsible for leading key tracks/teams and mentoring team members in key technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a medium sized team dispersed over 3 offices on two continents; coach and mentor the team to deliver client expectations
• Execute processes setup for the team by reviewing standards and frameworks for effective integration, track the plan and activities; report next steps to Project Management team
• Use various toolsets to develop, validate, and test code; review team's code and project manage their objectives
• Function in a multicultural environment where both employees and clients approach challenges from a global lens
• Provide technology and implementation expertise to domain, projects, and clients
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge in emerging technologies; participate in knowledge sharing and best practices sessions

Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in software or game development; 1-2 years of experience as a manager or lead developer
• Excellent knowledge of Java, .Net, and SQL
• Strong experience in developing standards compliant , CSS based layouts
• Accessibility and 508 compliance a plus
• Strong organizational and estimation skills
• Heroic get-it-done attitude, a team player and an excellent communicator
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage time effectively
• Effectively allocate work to junior team members
• Strong knowledge of Adobe suite of products; experience with Flash
• Excellent leadership skills with a willingness to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Experience working with CMS, portal technologies, and backend frameworks a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
