Interface Analyst

Dynamic Clinical Systems, Inc. (DCS), a software as-a-service (SaaS) model, rapidly growing healthcare services company, is seeking a full-time Interface Analyst with strong analytic, organization, and communication skills. DCS provides a fast-paced work environment where you can be an important part of an expanding, motivated service delivery team.

The Interface Analyst is an entry-level position that could lead to future data management or product development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and build of standard interfaces using Mirth Connect
• Work closely with team members to integrate / validate new interfaces
• Write high level design specs, unit test cases, and integration test cases
• Be accountable for support of Mirth Connect interface, anticipate issues, and address proactively
• Help in design, testing, and other day-to-day IT activities

Required Skills

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, and XML
• Demonstrable understanding of common architectural and design patterns
• Prior work with software versioning tools a plus
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytic skills: ability to triage and solve problems in a fact-driven manner

Background

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or information systems preferable
• One or two years experience in IT development, data management, or implementation desirable
• Interface experience – ideally with open source tools – a plus
• References (3) required

Position Requirements

• Full time (40 hours per week) salaried
• Reports To: Database Engineer
• Work Place: at-home office with broadband Internet access
• Geographic Location: all US geographic areas considered; Boston Area preferred
• Starting Compensation: salaried @ $24,000-32,000 per year, based on credentials and prior experience
