The Opportunity:

2010 is off to a great start, and as a result we’re looking to add to our sales team by creating a specific group that focuses on selling data services to key, named accounts.  A big part of this growth has been in our data services product suite, which serves the fast growing needs of Sales and Marketing leaders with contact lists and append projects to help them boost the ROI of their marketing initiatives.

The Responsibilities:

  • Full sales cycle: deal creation and closing experience. Success with  transactional as well as large scale opportunities
  • Desire and ability to generate leads through any and all available means including effective networking and phone calls
  • Ability to evangelize a new powerful new technology and way of doing business and how this can meet customer need
  • Providing timely forecasts to sales manager and VP sales.
  • Achieving revenue targets against a monthly quota.


The Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven sales success – a record of exceeding quota consistently.
  • Aggressive and go-getter mentality to find net new business by replicating the successes of key profitable deals that Zoom has closed.
  • Solid B to B experience in selling solutions, particularly web based,  SaaS software/technology or data services (lists, appends)
  • Experience selling Sales and/ or Marketing solutions at the executive level (CMO, SVP Sales)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com as a CRM system
  • Contagiously positive, highly energetic, self starter
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both internally
