The Dealer Display Account Manager will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with each dealer client while ensuring positive engagement with the CarGurus platform. This role will entail managing account-related and technical support inquiries for both prospective and current dealer display clients. The Account Manager must be flexible to tackle issues in both a preemptive and reactive manner which requires regular collaboration and consultation with account owners to ensure client success.
In managing a designated book of business, the Dealer Display Account Manager will be an expert on CarGurus tools, reports and ad products, in order to foster each dealer account from initial on-boarding, to daily maintenance and dealer communication, to the growth of the account over time. The successful candidate will be experienced in using site analytics tools and digital media platforms to monitor advertising campaign performance as well as supporting billing activities for their client base.
Support and technical components:
- 1-3+ years ad operations or account management experience
- Understanding of display ad serving platforms, ad creation process, and inventory management and availability
- Proficient with Google Analytics or similar site traffic tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
- Outstanding communication and listening ability
- Strong sense of customer service
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teammates and other departments to provide regular feedback to ad sales management
