POSITION
The Director of Marketing will oversee the development of sales-oriented collateral and lead generation, and will provide leadership and coordination of company marketing functions, including development of strategies, execution of marketing programs and monitoring and analysis of activity against goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Marketing duties will include the following responsibilities:
• Direct and coordinate company marketing function.
• Architect and implement digital marketing programs associated with driving key business goals, including: lead
generation, awareness, loyalty and satisfaction.
• Develop customer-centric best-practices for digital user engagement.
• Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
• Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing and new project
development.
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results.
• Plan and coordinate public relations and community outreach.
• Participate in the development of new project proposals.
• Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
• Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits and promotion programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will demonstrate successful experience with the responsibilities detailed above, and will possess many if not all of the following important traits:
• 5+ years experience in digital marketing & integrated marketing programs for a marketing or social media organization.
• Incredible writing skills for case studies, press releases and white papers. Must be a freak about formatting, visual design
and being consistent and typo-free.
• Strong eye for visual presentations (sales deck, speeches, ad layout).
• Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and
collaborate effectively at an advanced level.
• Self-motivated, directed person; ability to build strong, lasting business relationships; ability to understand the customer
and market trends.
• Strong integrated marketing communications and management skills including agency management, research, analysis
and strategy.
• Illustrated success in illustrating return on marketing investment with limited marketing budgets.
• BA/BS degree required; relevant advanced degree is preferred.
