Position Description
The Director, Business Development will be asked to
identify, prospect and close strategic publisher partnerships. Working
remotely out of New York, this individual will work with the rest of the Adelphic
Mobile team in executing on key company strategies, developing new initiatives
to promote growth and collaborating with all departments to promote a highly
motivated culture.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and lead business development
initiatives that are aligned with the company’s overall strategy
- Develop a strong pipeline of strategic
publishers
- Manage and lead others on the business
development team
- Contract Negotiation with senior level
executives
- Collaborate on ideas across all departments to
develop and implement process as needed
- Key contributor to the Business Development team
- Focus on premium publisher relationships,
looking to prospect new publishers and grow current partnerships
- Forecast revenue and inventory growth for your
territory, while initiating goals that will continue to help the company grow
- Excellent time management and organizational
skills
- Maintain a positive and proactive view regarding
all projects and accounts, while being seen as both approachable and flexible
by other members of the Adelphic team
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of business development and/or supply
side experience
- Strong mobile background
- Experience in a start-up or early stage
environment
- Strong mobile publisher rolodex with the ability
to build key executive level relationships
- Successful track record identifying new
opportunities
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding
quarterly performance goals
- Strong leadership skills and experience in
managing other team members
- Proven track record of delivering revenue and
business development targets
- Proficient in working with CRM tools
- BA/BS degree; MBA or advanced degreed a plus
- Ability to travel as needed
