Developer/Consultants Needed for Top Consulting Company!

A consulting company based in Newton is hiring for a Developers of all experiences for their company.  The company is brought up by various lead engineers/architects and managers from Microsoft.  The company is a financial consulting firm that works with the top banks in the country to build various financial portfolios and applications for their clients.  The company has been around for 5 years and has two teams that focus on Java, Microsoft OR opensource technologies.  

One of their financial clients in Boston looking for a experienced developers from 2-10+ years to help with a financial application that would be used internally within the organization.  The candidate would only travel to the Boston financial companies.  This candidate would be working with some of the newer and most up-to-date technologies on the web.

The must have skills include:

• Experience with Java, Ruby, PHP OR Python
• Experience with Front End technologies (i.e. HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery, Backbone.js)
• CS background

Strongest Pluses:

• Experience with any MVC frameworks (Rails, Django, Cake, CodeIgniter, Spring, Hibernate)                   
• Any familiarity with Scala, Erlang, RSpec, Cucumber or Jira in a TDD environment                        
• Interest in Big Data non-rational databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop, Hbase, Hive/MapReduce)
• Interest in scalability technologies or having experience with building web application for scalability.
• Interest in any cloud computing (i.e. EC2, AWS)
