Curriculum Designer and Trainer

The Curriculum Designer & Trainer will be responsible for the design and development of various Anaqua training deliverables for use by Anaqua clients and our internal teams. This will include the design of product, process, industry, and skills-based training. Key responsibilities also include working with Subject Matter Experts to develop impactful content and training curriculum, supporting and/or facilitating live training to internal/external clients (including train-the-trainer), supporting and/or facilitating client webinars, and maintaining client training site.    

Responsibilities
•    Works with internal experts to effectively to document best practices and processes in order to produce effective and engaging training content that supports the training and usage of ANAQUA 
•    Creates and/or redesigns curriculum learning materials for Anaqua software, industry related topics, and skills-based training
•    Facilitates live or virtual training to internal/external clients (Client Training Events, Sales Summits, Internal Knowledge Sharing) 
•    Leverages instructional design and multi-media skills to create engaging client webinars and videos and supports delivery of client webinars 
•    Manages multiple training project plans simultaneously when required
•    Recommends innovative approaches to training and design 
•    Assist with special projects as directed to support corporate training initiatives 


Requirements
•    A minimum of 5 years experience in creating and delivering training content/curriculum (both live and virtual courses) 
•    Strong curriculum design skills with the ability to take complex tasks and/or subject matter and develop meaningful, simplified content
•    Experience with video training and audio editing software (i.e. Camtasia) 
•    Proficiency with project management as applied to learning development projects
•    Must be able to absorb various forms of software quickly
•    Good change management, relationship skills, and ability to employ a consultative approach to influence decision makers 
•    Detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    A self-starter who has strong work ethic and sense of responsibility in managing multiple tasks and priorities
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on PowerPoint;  Solid working knowledge of Learning Management and Content Management Systems 

Preferred Skills
•    Corporate trainers and content designers with business experience (preferred) 
•    Good command of Adult Learning Principles and real-world implementation of training initiatives for adult learners (preferred)
•    Previous client training background (preferred) 
•    Prior experience developing content in technology, software company (plus)
•    Prior experience in Intellectual Property (plus)
•    Prior Sales Training expertise, Consultative Selling
