RentPrefs is seeking an experienced software engineer to help develop and evolve our web application. RentPrefs is creating a web-based platform to bring efficiency and transparency to the apartment rental process by aggregating a comprehensive database of available apartments and active renters.

We’re looking for an agile self-starter who enjoys working closely with a small, passionate team. You will be responsible for and have complete ownership over the front- and back-end of our production applications and tools, from architecture, to development, to ongoing operations.

Responsibilities:

Construction of front- and back-end of product application 

Requirements:

• Must be adaptable and love working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Must have immediate mastery over our full back-end technology stack—Linux/Apache, MySQL, PHP running Symfony—as well as our consumer-facing front-end: modern HTML, CSS, Javascript (has to look great and work will on the full spectrum of devices/OSS/browsers).
