As a Director of HR, you will play a key role in the implementation and administration of benefits, policies, and programs as well as the maintenance of associated HRIS systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day administration, communication, implementation and adherence of HR policies and programs
  • Work with business partners to resolve employee relations issues
  • Partner with managers to develop and implement performance management and employee development programs
  • Implement employee relations strategies designed to create an environment that drives maximum individual and team success
  • Conduct or participate in special projects as needed to meet overall company and department strategic goals and initiatives
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, HR program and events
  • Assist in the communication of company benefits program plan options, features and enrollment requirements; assists employees with benefit claim administration inquiries
  • Oversee onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including auditing for accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as an HR advisor to employees in relation to leave of absence issues, employee relations, grievance matters and organizational change
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies
  • Create, generate, and maintain effective HR reporting, including turnover, headcount, recruiting, organization charts, and other key metrics to drive organizational effectiveness
  • Serve as the primary liaison for HR-related annual data testing and auditing and other compliance requirements

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience in a fast paced, high tech environment supporting the management team and employee base
  • Proven working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including employee relations, performance management, and management consultation
  • The ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated and able to interact with employees at all levels
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in an ever changing fast-paced environment
  • Must possess above average proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to research and analyze information
  • Ability to use data and information to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law
  • Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Possess a positive, service oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues
