Position Description:

The Motus Business Development team is looking for an experienced sales manager to oversee our team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing training, coaching, and development of the BDRs, managing the team to their KPIs, and ensuring a full pipeline of top-quality leads converts to the closing sales team. Successful BDRs will be promoted into closing roles, so in addition to contributing to our bottom line, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing our future sales talent.

Position Duties:

  • Manage leads and activity across the BDR team
  • Manage the pipeline generation process
  • Develop and monitor outbound lead strategies
  • Provide coaching and guidance to BDRs via regular 1x1s and in real-time
  • Own the maintenance and ongoing development of training collateral
  • Conduct new hire training sessions and ongoing team refreshers and trainings as needed
  • Set, monitor, and hold team accountable to KPIs
  • Participate in the hiring process for new BDRs
  • Keep the team apprised of best practices in sales strategy and technology
  • Report on and analyze lead pipeline, forecasting, and team activity
  • Drive efficiency across team processes and activity
  • Acquire and maintain an advanced knowledge of Motus’ product suite

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated success managing and coaching at the SMB level
  • Deep knowledge of sales best practices 
  • Passion for training and coaching
  • Superior relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt your coaching style according to individual team member needs
  • Positive, energetic, and motivating presence
  • Detail and process-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of
  • Proficiency in prospecting tools such as InsideView and LinkedIn Navigator
