Meet Our Management Team

Peter Segall
Chief Executive Officer

Peter leads company strategy and execution. He was previously the President, North American Higher Education and Operations at Blackboard Inc., a leading provider of e-Education enterprise software applications and services, where he had management responsibility and oversight for all aspects of the division's academic business and operations, including sales, marketing, services, product development, customer support, and business development. Prior to that, Segall was the Executive Vice President and a board member at WebCT, Executive Director of Harvard University's Project ADAPT, and a Consulting Partner at Coopers & Lybrand LLP. He received his B.A. in Physics from Brown University and his Masters of Math and Science Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Bryce Chicoyne
Chief Financial Officer

Bryce leads financial strategy and oversees all financial and fiscal management aspects of the company. He was previously from, where he served as their Chief Financial Officer from 2008 until its acquisition by Kenexa Corporation in October 2010. Prior to, Chicoyne was CFO at Harvard Bioscience. From 2002-2004, Bryce was Director of Financial Reporting at Apogent Technologies, He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Southern New Hampshire and an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College.

Michael DiPietro
Chief Marketing Officer

Mike leads marketing strategy and product strategy. He gained firsthand experience in healthcare HR as head of Kronos Incorporated's Healthcare Systems Division and as a long time Vice President in marketing, responsible for product and market planning. More recently, he was Vice President of Marketing at Perillon Software and co-founder of Viridus, an online community for environmental issues. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the Stanford/AEA institute.

William Plourde
Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Enginering

Will leads the engineering team and oversees development of all HealthcareSource products. Will has more than 17 years of technical leadership experience developing SaaS software, with 12 years exclusive to talent management applications. Prior to HealthcareSource, Will worked for Monster Worldwide as a Lead Engineer helping to re-platform both their employer and job seeker offerings. Previously, Will was a hands-on software development manager developing B2B supply chain software for the electronics production supply industry.

Gene Gainey
Senior Vice President of Sales

Gene leads the business development, sales and solutions consulting aspects of the company. He has held similar roles in the talent management industry with companies like Globoforce, and Centra Software. A 25+ year veteran of the technology industry, Gene also worked for leading companies like Siebel Systems, Dun & Bradstreet Software and Zenith Data Systems. He holds a B.A. in accounting from North Carolina State University.

Jon Russell
Senior Vice President of Services

Jon provides overall leadership across all of the company’s services and support operations, including teams based out of Woburn, MA, Knoxville, TN, and Grand Rapids, MI. A co-founder of NetLearning, Jon served as Vice President of Client Services and Director of Operations, where he was responsible for leadership and management of all customer facing operations, delivery and support of NetLearning software solutions to healthcare providers. Prior to that role, Jon was NetLearning’s Chief Financial Officer from the company’s incorporation in 1997 until the business was sold to Thompson Learning in 2004. He holds an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BS in Business Administration from Auburn University.

Steve Mahoney
Vice President of Services

Steve leads our Customer Success team. Over the past 5 years, he and his team have been largely responsible for the nearly 100% customer satisfaction and customer retention at HealthcareSource. His prior experience includes talent management consulting at Working Concepts, services at Authoria, and Human Resources at Lahey Clinic. He has a bachelor's degree in healthcare management from the University of New England.

Gabe Camera
Vice President, Finance

Gabe leads the day to day financial operations and reporting and assists in executing the financial strategy of the company. Gabe brings more than 14 years of working experience within the accounting and finance industry with a focus on technology companies in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining HealthcareSource, Gabe served as Corporate Controller at both Axeda Corporation and and Audit Senior Manager within KPMG LLP’s Boston office. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant and member of both the Massachusetts Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of CPAs, he received his Bachelors in Accounting and Finance from Babson College.

Michelle Strasburger
Sr. Director, Talent Management

Michelle leads the strategic development and implementation of our Talent Management plans and programs. Michelle comes to HealthcareSource with over 10 years of innovative Human Resources Experience in small, midsize and Fortune 500 companies. Michelle has a bachelors in Business Administration, an MBA in Human Resources and is SPHR and GPHR certified. Michelle currently serves on the Board of the Manchester Area Human Resources Association where she is the Social Media Chair. Michelle was also the Co-Founder of Southern New Hampshire Women’s Business Network and spends some time as a guest teacher for the PHR/SPHR prep courses at Southern New Hampshire University.

Dr. Frederick P. Morgeson Ph.D.
Scientific Advisor

Dr. Morgeson is the Scientific Advisor for our behavioral assessment solution, as well as an Eli Broad Professor of Management at The Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He teaches, conducts researches, and consults across a range of areas in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, including leadership, work analysis and design, work teams, and personnel selection and staffing. Dr. Morgeson is also the founding Editor of the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, former Editor of Personnel Psychology, and co-author of the leading job analysis book.
