Event Description:
Please join us to listen to Russ Cox, a Google developer with four years experience with the Go language core contributor team.
Most of us only read about building a development language, some participate in open source language development, and a few spend every day on the core contributor team building a language like Russ.
Go is an open source programming language developed at Google that makes it easy to build simple, reliable, and efficient software. More importantly, programming in Go is fast and fun. This talk will give a tour of the language, with live coding. Go 1, the first official stable version of the language, was released at the end of March. For more informationhttp://golang.org/
